Q: What were some of the things you learned when you visited the community organization? (Roles, responsibilities, etc...)
A: Right when we arrived we were in charge of clearing out a room and preparing it for the nights activities. We were
then told to go around and ask residents if they would like to participate. If they wanted to, we would wheel or walk them
to the room and help the get seated. We learned that with the elderly you have to be patient and very friendly.

Q: How does the organization improve the community?
A: Park River Estates gives people whose lives have become too difficult to live on their own a place to feel safe and
at home. They make the last years of a person's life enjoyable and productive. One of the best things about them is that they
not only make the residents lives easier but also the families of the residents lives, since they provide quality care and
the families can feel assured that their family member is taken care of.
